Subject: spider veins

I heard that lavender oil is supposed to take spider veins away, and on your site you say sage. Do you know any info on this and if you do How do you use it?

Thanks,
Sandy

Dear Sandy,

In fact, the most appropriate essential oils for spider veins are Cypress Sage
and Geranium. They decongest the veins and ease blood circulation.  Cypress strengthens the vein walls thus reducing them. It usually takes much time to  see improvement and you can emphasize the treatment by being careful of your  diet, avoiding too much heat (baths and sunbathing).

To use these oils, simply prepare a blend in a 30-ml bottle with oil or unscented lotion with the following recipe:

  • 15 drops Cypress

  • 10 drops Geranium

  • 7 drops Sage

Massage from toes to hips.

Enjoy!
